Whatever Happened to the Peace Corps?

Yes, there still is a U.S. Peace Corps, but Trump has consistently reduced funding and resources for this agency every year of his presidency (see below). The building of a wall on our southern border is obviously more important than maintaining some form of international outreach at a grassroots level. No more! We have become an “island” awash in a sea of self- importance and xenophobia.
